I'm looking forward to what the year has in store for us. Mathematics can be a stressful study, but it can also be very rewarding. Understanding how math can and is used in every day situations is something that everyone needs to know. Understanding these concepts will help you become a more successful part of society, and ultimately, I believe that everyone wants to be successful. I will try to make this journey as interesting as possible by trying to relate the topics we discuss to situations that you will encounter in life. I will also try to make math less stressful, but there will be times where the information might be difficult to understand. I will discuss how to handle these situations. Just know this, I will not cover something that I think that you can not grasp. Success in this class is directly related to the amount of effort you give. So give me 100%.

My class is enhanced with technology through the eMINTS program. The eMINTS program is a professional developement program that equips teachers with the abilities to use technology to help students become more independent thinkers through inquiry-based lessons and help build a good student climate through community builders.
